1. General

These Terms of Service govern your use of DPP Studio, a Digital Product Passport platform operated by:

2. Service Description

DPP Studio is a SaaS platform that enables businesses to create, manage, and publish Digital Product Passports (DPP) in compliance with EU Regulation 2024/1781 (ESPR). The service includes product data management, QR code generation, public DPP pages, PDF export, supplier portal, and compliance tools.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

DPP Studio offers multiple subscription plans with different feature sets and limits:

• Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Prices are in EUR and exclude applicable VAT
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days advance notice

5. Your Data

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into DPP Studio, including product information, supplier data, and uploaded files.

You grant us a limited licence to process, store, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

You may export your data at any time via CSV export or API. Upon account termination, we will retain your data for 30 days before deletion, unless longer retention is required by ESPR.

6. Digital Product Passports

Regarding DPPs published through our platform:

• You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of DPP data
• DPP Studio provides tools to facilitate ESPR compliance but does not guarantee regulatory compliance
• You should verify DPP content with qualified compliance professionals

7. Intellectual Property

DPP Studio, including its source code, design, documentation, and trademarks, is the property of ARCHIGENIUS, UNIPESSOAL LDA. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform.

8. Prohibited Uses

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the platform
• Abuse, overload, or interfere with the service infrastructure
• Submit false or misleading product data in DPPs

9. Limitation of Liability

DPP Studio is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, ARCHIGENIUS, UNIPESSOAL LDA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days (or longer if required by ESPR) and then permanently deleted.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
